I think respawn in RvR zone should be to the nearest keep that your race control. This way defense would make more sense. With the current rules, even when you defend the keep you can't get in because players block the way on the way, Back doors aren't enough.
I'm an ex-Lineage player and I remember there Castle siege respawn system, and it was much more interesting to defend castle than it is in Warhammer. Keeps are suppose to be easier to defend by defenition. But they are hard to defend when you spawn outside of it and get killed before reaching it, and this also split up your defense group which make defenders much more vulnurable. By spawning inside the keep (with an higher timer than 5s of course) the defense would be much more valuable since you could probably acheive a good defense with fewer ppl than the attacker. If all the kills in the RvR zone port you there (not only those in keep), it will also help the ppl that get in after the battle start to reach the action. Since ppl on defense got to react to a preformed group, they also need this kind of "bonus" for faster group up purpose. This is the kind of thing that will make ppl wanna defend more, since it's none stop action and the +100 (rp/xp)/min this would be great xp.... but right now defending a keep is more like..... trying to get back in and getting owned on the way.

i'm from l2 too and my guild still own goddard. and i'm against it although l2 castle seige 10 times better.
we must stop thinking that keep raiding is about break the door and kill the lord. whole rvr lake is the castle.
when server more mature rvr is not like what we see today. more tactic will prevail. in order to capture a keep you must secure the area first.
if need to encourage keep defense, WAR need find a reason why it is must be defended. better renown than attacker won't entice much. but if losing a keep means losing something to you besides pride then ppl will actually defend.
give me a reason! what affect me soo much that i can't live without a keep. i dun wan give any more ideas. it up to mythic to think. maybe coz it free it gets less valuable to them.
If you could summon a giant pig to blow down the wall and give people an 8 minute respawn time like l2, this wouldn't be so overpowered.
I hope not. It's already difficult enough to take a keep if there's defender hiding in the lord room.
